The course is aimed at: public involvement leads, the research community, researchers, health and allied health and social care professionals and members of the public involvement community in Wales.
The video includes an overview of the development of the UK Standards for Public Involvement, an in-depth look at the individual standards and their application in the real world.
The workbook is based on the UK Standards for Public Involvement. You can use the workbook as an individual or in a group to apply the Standards to your research project, public involvement group or strategy.
Learning outcomes:
Know how to use the standards as a framework to reflect on and plan your activities
Understand how to plan and improve the quality and consistency of public involvement in your organisations and research projects
Be able to use the standards when reflecting on own experience of involvement as a member of the public
