The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) is hosting a free 90-minute virtual workshop designed for early career researchers interested in learning how to effectively involve people and communities in their work.
The workshop will cover:
-Understanding Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) and NIHR expectations.
-Practical tools for designing collaborative research projects.
-Strategies for finding and recruiting relevant people and communities.
-An overview of templates and resources to support you.
You will also hear a case study from Dr. Sarah Durnan, an early career researcher who will share real-life examples and insights on PPIE.
You can register for one of the sessions.
Session 1: October 15, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM (UK time).
Session 2: October 16, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM (UK time).
