We begin by highlighting the history of public and patient involvement (PPI), acknowledging the work that came before us. We explore what we have learned as an organisation delivering PPI in publicly funded studies, covering the roles and skills in PPI, the case for carrying out PPI work, and more. We hope that our learnings can help you embrace public involvement in research. This is one of ten resources we’ve produced to celebrate ten years of the McPin Foundation.
