Involving patients and the public strengthens medical research. But how do we move beyond consultation to more collaborative approaches? Join us on Wednesday 13th July to find out more about participatory and co-produced research and develop your skills.
You will hear inspiring stories from researchers and members of the public about how they found each other and worked together in order to undertake participatory and co-produced research. You will have an opportunity to share your experiences and ideas, and we will work together to plan new ways to move forward in participatory and co-produced research.
This event is open to staff, students and members of the public with an interest in collaborative public involvement in research. Public members will be reimbursed for their travel and time. This is an in-person event and will not be held online.
PLEASE NOTE THIS OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE IN THE SOUTHAMPTON AND LOCAL AREAS. Travel expenses can be paid up to £60.
Tickets are limited so act quickly to book a place!
This event is funded by UKRI Participatory and Co-produced Research Fund in collaboration with the University of Southampton Faculty of Medicine.
